Thanksgiving Community Day
The MS 131 Community came together the day before Thanksgiving to build community. High School Fair
17 High Schools, mostly from Manhattan, came to MS 131 to advertise their programs. Our students got the chance to speak with their representatives and ask tons of questions, helping them to better understand some of the options available to them when deciding on their high school choices. Luckily, there are so many great options!
Community Day Trips!!!
On Friday, each grade took off on its own adventure. The 6th grade continued their tradition of visiting Governor’s Island, while the 7th grade toured the Brooklyn Botanic Garden and the 8th Grade took the ferry all the way out to the Rockaways. 7th Grade Out Lunch
7th grade has now joined 8th grade in being able to go out to lunch. Students have enjoyed the park, bought food from local eateries and enjoyed the fresh air. 6th grade is coming soon. . .
