Our new and super popular Girls Volleyball team was in action against a nearby high school. A great learning experience for everyone!
Some great learning taking place in an 8th grade science room. Students were learning about asexual reproduction. The observed yeast asexually reproducing under the microscope, and did close observation of different plants that asexual reproduce. Students learn by doing. . .
Visual Art students at 131 got to show off their work to their peers today. Students observed the work, gave some warm feedback. Lots of work with geometric shapes and color theory. Thank Mr. Phillips and students for treating us to a great show!
On Friday, teachers gave out awards for achievement, improvement and attendance for the first trimester. So many students have worked so hard, and taking some time to recognize their successes is something we love to do! Congratulations to everyone! 8th grade’s will be on January 7.
