The Arts

The Arts Program @ MS131 is made up of Instrumental Music, Visual Art, Dance & Digital Art. Incoming sixth graders choose their art major and complete a three year series to advance their skills. The goal of all 4 arts programs are to prepare students for a competitive application to arts focused high schools if they choose to pursue a conservatory style high school experience.
The Arts are celebrated at MS131 and displayed every year during Arts Week in the spring. Check out a slideshow of our work during the pandemic!
