Hands on learning in science. . .

Some great learning taking place in an 8th grade science room.  Students were learning about asexual reproduction.  The observed yeast asexually reproducing under the microscope, and did close observation of different plants that asexual reproduce.  Students learn by doing. . .

Art Opening at 131

Visual Art students at 131 got to show off their work to their peers today.  Students observed the work, gave some warm feedback.  Lots of work with geometric shapes and color theory.  Thank Mr. Phillips and students for treating us to a great show!
