Community Circles
All students have Community Circles weekly. Some schools call this time "Advisory." During Circles, students are in very small groups as they get to know each other, set goals for themselves, and build a small and supportive community of students.
Social Studies
In Social Studies, students follow the Passport to Social Studies curriculum, which our teachers supplement to make it more relevant and exciting for our students. They learn to read challenging texts, write clearly and persuasively, and engage in many forms of discussion.
