The Chinese Language Arts teacher, Ms. Ren and Ms.Ze organized a fantastic Lunar New Year Festival with M.S.131 Chinese culture club students. The 2024 Lunar New Year Festival aimed to empower students to embrace their culture, reflect on identity and culture heritage. Through collective planning and rehearsals, students proudly showed who they are as Asian Americans and celebrated Asian Culture with the entire M.S.131 school community.
Special thanks to principal Mr. Geballe and assistant principal Ms.Lee for sponsoring, Ms.Nicole for getting Hanfu sponsorship, Mr. Alex for stage support, Ms. Lili for editing music sound tracks, Ms. Chavia for modeling, Ms. Virginia & Mr. Kedon for the office supplies, and Mr.Wang for presenting students’ lunar new year digital artwork.
