Photo Enrichment Gallery Visit

As a part of their first photography project, the Photo Enrichment students (6th grade) visited the “Hands” exhibition at Carriage Trade, a gallery located on Grand Street. Gallery owner Peter Scott, gave them a tour and spoke to them about the photos and the power of gesture in photography.

Generous Donation!

A big thank you to 6th/7th Grade parent Li Hua Wu for donating over 200 bottles of hand sanitizer to MS 131.  All our students in staff will be able to take one home!  Thanks!  

Digital Arts Presentation

The digital arts students, under the direction of Ms. Oh, completed their 2nd Trimester projects.  Lots of really interesting work, including many that directly or indirectly deal with how or students are feeling during this pandemic.  Some of Ms. Starke’s music students created the original music for it.
