The day before winter break, 131 students (and a few teachers and principal) came together to show off their talents. On Friday, Ms. Arrigo and Mr. Ruiz took nearly 30 athletes to the citywide track meet. Student competed hard, cheered each other on and had an amazing time. 131 students place 1st in multiple events, and medaled in many more. Great job!
On Friday, the 131 community came together to celebrate the Lunar New Year. Students and community members performed, including a parade through our hallways of Lion Dancers. Check out the pictures!!
On Friday, January 17, MS 131 students took part in a variety of community service and educational trips as part of our Community Day. This particular day, aligned with the observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday, saw 131 students deliver meals to homebound elderly, read in pre-k classes, help beautify the parks, and …
Yesterday, parents and students came together for our Honor Roll Breakfast, to celebrate students with a 90 average and above in the first Trimester. It is hard to be so consistent in so many classes, with new teachers and expectations. Great job everyone!
